Coersion... From A Distance

Number One

From a PA Pulp and Paper Mill update, Ron Rucks, the President of CEP Local 1120 writes, "The National Union is looking for people to help out in the election and is willing to pay all expenses up to $100 per day."

The actual letter from Rucks is attached above. It is an interesting examination into the mind-set of a union executive.

Number Two

"My friend’s husband works at IPSCO in Regina. He received a call this morning from the Steelworkers of America union office from Ontario reminding him that Mark Wartman (NDP-Regina Qu’Appelle Valley) is the candidate that he should be voting for on the 7th."

I find it interesting that in last night's debate, Calvert was concerned about the Sask Party Enterprise Saskatchewan model which he claims would have unelected officials making decisions for the people of Saskatchewan.

Is that like a National Union paying members to work for the NDP, or having calls from a union in Ontario telling members how to vote?

When I heard that, I almost fell off my chair, I was laughing so hard.

Calvert said: 'if you are short on votes, you go long on words'

WTF?!! If you CAN'T EARN ENOUGH VOTES, the NDP will have the UNIONS BUY THEM.

Makes me wonder how many 'dead people' will be voting on the 7th?

What about the 'unelected' NDP friends that are now running the SaskTel's, Crown Investment Corporations, Victoria Park Capital...wait..Victoria Park Capital was privatized by Calvert and purchased by his 'unelected' NDP friends!

Whose Zootin' who?
