Calvert Delivers - Quennell Whines

Much to the chagrin of the NDP, The Sask Party has decided to expose the NDP's less than stellar record online at calvertdelivers.com

NDP Justice Minister Frank Quennell is not impressed with the effort and would like the Sask Party to correct the points that make the NDP look bad, despite having concrete facts and numbers from outside sources that back up the Sask Party's assertions.

Now Minister Quennell doesn't like the Sask Party facts and figures but has no problem whatsoever with Lorne Calvert running an ad in the Star Phoenix and the Leader Post accusing Brad Wall and the Sask Party of having a hidden agenda of wanting to privitize crowns and healthcare.

Regardless of how clear Wall has been on both those issues, (and he has been crystal clear that privatization of the Crowns and heathcare are not in the cards if elected), the NDP continue to spread false and misleading information stating otherwise.

Evidently, what's good for the goose evidently isn't good for the gander.

If you compare the two websites you find two very different approaches.

While the Sask Party refers to the actual record of the NDP using third party sources, the NDP site is based on many out of date quotes, and in many cases taken out of context.

The NDP site uses accusations and innuendo. The Sask Party uses confirmed facts.

The picture of Lorne Calvert of the Sask Party site is an actual picture used in Calvert ad. The NDP site manipulates the pictures of Brad Wall the the Sask Party candidates to deliberately distort and make them look bad. (Does this sound like an on-going theme?)

The Sask Party platform and campaign has been about details.

The NDP platform and campaign has been about spreading falsehoods, distortions, misquotes, and innuendo.

The question is, "Who best represents what you stand for?"

One final thing (and this is for all us Internet geeks out there). You would think that if the NDP braintrust was going to run with the "Calvert Cares. Calvert Delivers." brand, they would have had the smarts to tie up the domain name...

'would like the Sask Party to correct the points that make the NDP look bad'

The NDP made the NDP look bad, but hey, typical that the lefties would want someone else to fix it for them.
