This is a screenshot of Lorne Calvert's Facebook page. It was sent to me yesterday by one of his "friends".
If you look at Lorne's status, as of yesterday is still says, "Lorne is getting ready for the debate", which I assume was set some time before last Tuesday's debate.
They're just not trying anymore...

Okay, ummmm dude? Now you're just bashing the NDP. The site's better when you're just responding to the Unions and NDP doing something stupid.
Gerald,
Thanks for the comment. If you're going to start a Facebook account for promotion of a leader, the worst thing you can do is not update it in such an obvious manner.
A lot of political parties talk about the importance of the Internet, yet none of them have used it effectively becasue they don't think the resources are worthwhile.
We bloggers are an odd crew. We look for mistakes, nuances etc.
If you don't think keeping something current that's meant to promote the leader of a political party, particularly after that atrocious debate and after the damning Canwest poll, that IS the NDP doing something stupid.
Hence the NDP Boogeyman
Point taken, just had a short attack of sympathy for Calvert.
:)
I assumed that the Facebook page was Lorne's own and not updated by anyone else. My bad. I also agree that none of the parties have used the internet particularly effectively during the campaign.
Resume the salt-pouring.
:)
Gerald,
You've amde an interesting observation of the humanity and particularly of the right.
We've got him down, we're kicking him and then for one brief moment, we feel sorry for him... We let go, then he punches us in the nuts.
Sorry, when they're down... I'm still kicking.
Have you ever heard the story of the snake and the horse?
Nope, never heard the story of the snake and the horse. I assume the horse dies because the snake came back and bit him in the ass for letting it live?
It's funny that the right is assumed to be ruthless but they sometimes have an attack of remorse which makes them take their foot off the left's neck.
In any case - kick away.
The snake it trying to cross a river. He spies a horse and asks the horse to take him over. The horse says, "No, you'll bite me a we'll drown." The snakes pleads and promises that won't be the case. Finally, the horse agrees to take the snake over... Midway across, the horse feels the bite of the snake. "You promised you wouldn't bite me", said the horse. To which the snake replied, "I'm a snake..."
In short, the NDP have lied about their record, and lied about Wall and the Sask Party. As much as they tout lower corporate taxes for business, they tried implementing the available hours legislation that would have in effect made every shop act unionized.
The Canwest poll revealed what will happen to these people on the 07th. They deserve every bit if it.
I have no pity in my heart for these immoral bastards.
When they start to scream, my boot will press down even harder. Because thats what thay have done in the past, and what they would do to us if they were winning....
