16.7%

I still think it's a tad high...

Even Mandryk gets it right this time

"Evidently, almost half of Saskatchewan's 29.4% of New Democrat supporters prefer Wall over Lingenfelter as Premier"

Keep performing your magic, Link! The people just don't understand you yet.

Now is when it gets interesting; will Link resign or not? I doubt he will. His ego will not accept that he is the first leader of the CCF/NDP to not be Premier in almost 70 years. So, now how will the NDP deal with Link as their leader? Do they follow him off the cliff or do they force him out and find a new leader before the next election? The next election is exactly one year away, so do they have the time, money and the will to replace Link? Not to mention can the party survive the fight Link will no doubt put up.

The only way the NDP can get rid of Link would be for some of them to come forth and reveal the truth about Link's involvement with the membership scandal. (When is that going to trial?). There have already been rumours that a high ranking NDP is ready to testify in court that Link had prior knowledge of the memberships. The criminal charges that would result from such a revelation would be enough to force Link out, but then what? How do you rebuild? And under whom?

The NDP are in a quagmire; either a dirty, drawn out, mud sling to replace Link, or follow him off the cliff into oblivion. The NDP are not known for dissension, so my guess is they are going over the cliff.

If these poll numbers hold, the NDP is on track for their worst election result since 1982. Their caucus might be even smaller than 10 seats in 2012.
